Netanyahu rejects international criticism over the «twitter»: «Gilo» in Jerusalem and not a settlement

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu international criticism of the Israeli government's decision to build 1,100 housing units, in the settlement of Gilo in East Jerusalem, Netanyahu said, through his personal bank account on the site «twitter»: «Gilo is not a settlement but a neighborhood in Jerusalem, located just 5 minutes from the city center , and all Israeli governments, the girl ».

The Israeli radio quoted the Israeli ambassador to the United Nations as saying that «the status of Jerusalem will be discussed when the two sides will discuss the final status, and added that Jerusalem is the capital of Israel and it is the heart of the Jewish people».

Israel has been under international criticism because of the large resolution, which comes amid efforts by the international Quartet for the resumption of negotiations between the Israelis and the Palestinians, the Palestinians did not get recognition for their state, giving them full membership in the United Nations.
