Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, "Friday," Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to give up power in case of failure to implement the required reforms in the country.
Medvedev said - in comments carried by state news agency / RIA Novosti / Russia - "It's similar to other countries, Russia wants to stop the bloodshed in Syria, and the announcement of its position clear to the Syrian government."
He added: "In case of failure of the Syrian president in the country's reforms, he must give up power."
Medvedev stressed that it should take such a decision - give up al-Assad from power - by the Syrian people and the Syrian government and not by NATO, "NATO" and some European countries.
Russia has made clear its opposition to any decision about condemning Syria's Assad, making a red line after the allowed NATO raids on Libya for failing to use its veto in the Security Council vote in March
