Russian Foreign Ministry: We will not support the UN resolution on Syria

Said the Russian Foreign Ministry Tuesday said Russia would not support the draft UN resolution drafted by Europe on Syria, describing it as "unacceptable" but did not indicate whether they would veto "veto."

Gennady Jatilov told Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Interfax news agency that Russia will refuse to support the resolution because the text does not include a clause calling for powers not to interfere in the internal affairs of Syria.
