Nigerian who tried to blow up a passenger plane describes America as "cancer

Described the Nigerian accused of trying to blow up a passenger plane bound for Detroit's U.S. Holiday Birth in 2009 America as cancer, before the hours of jury selection in his trial Tuesday, said Omar Faruq Abdul-Muttalib, "Anwar neighborhood" in an apparent reference to Anwar Awlaki cleric American-born which is related to the accused as well as al Qaeda and who was killed last week in an attack in Yemen, U.S. drone aircraft.
The accused Abdul Muttalib (24 years) trying to blow up explosives hidden in his underwear in a plane was heading from Amsterdam to Detroit, but the explosives did not explode and the passengers were able to control the Abd al-Muttalib, who faces life in prison if convicted.
Last month, Abdul Muttalib attend a hearing "Osama alive" and when the judge read out the charge sheet and used a rule echoed the word "jihad."
The judge said the jury selection process and includes 12 jurors and four alternate jurors will end on Thursday afternoon.
And directed the court of Abdul Muttalib, who studied at University College London eight charges, including conspiracy to commit a terrorist act, attempted murder and trying to use a weapon of mass destruction.
It is scheduled to begin hearing arguments in court October 11 this is expected to continue the trial months
